Beautiful craftsmanship

I know, it’s only a maple stick. But the grain, knob, finish and packaging tell the story. Thank you Nonnas Woodshop for nice work and timely fulfillment. It’s now an heirloom.

Beautiful and very easy to use

This is the perfect size for making pasta at my house. It reminds me of the one my nonna used.

Reminders of Italy

Visited Italy recently and participated in a pasta making demonstration. I realized I would need a mattarello to roll homemade pasta so, after some online research, I decided to go with Nonna’s for this new cook’s tool. I received my 33” mattarello in cherry wood and knew immediately it would become a family heirloom. Great purchase!

30 inch Mattarello

IMO, the 30" Mattarello is the perfect length for rolling out small batches of dough for pasta. (150 to 350 grams of dough). I have a 36" mattarello as well that I use when I'm rolling out a pound or more of dough.

It's a beautiful tool that I use at least once a week!
Cheers,
Joe
