Classic, hand turned Italian Mattarello rolling pin
A serious pin for a serious pasta chef. Hand lathe turned from 1 solid piece. I select woods with the most naturally straight grain, perfect for mattarelli. These have a knack for becoming family heirlooms.
Blanks for the mattarelli are cut, and left to dry naturally for 2 months before turning. This keeps them extra straight and resilient to warping over time.
1 3/4"- 1 7/8" diameter (exact sizes will slightly vary from piece to piece, as these are hand turned) Finished with a homemade blend of natural bees & carnauba wax.
Made from real wood, meaning each piece will be unique.
Includes a linen storage bag to keep it from rolling around and getting damaged.
Perfect gift for the chef in your life... or yourself ;)

easy to order, shipped before Christmas despite the madness with Canada post.
It is not only a beautiful object, but very functional. She loves it. Looking forward to ordering some other products for noodle production.

Ordered for my husband who has wanted a matarello for years. Emailed once as I didn't hear from anyone and got an immediate response (within 24hrs). Beautiful work. Great customer service!
I love this mattarello! High quality wood, feels great and rolls my pasta dough to an even thickness. Highly recommend getting one.
I received my mattarellos yesterday and I did not hesitate to use them right away. They are so well crafted, it will be something I have in my kitchen for years to come.
I purchased this for a Father's Day gift. Having the longer roller is fabulous. It is faster and easier to have perfect pasta with this roller! It looks and feels great in hand. I recommend Nona's to anyone looking to cook authentic pasta. Thank you.
